Before the ¶¶êŽÒ•îl can issue a CAS, students must meet the academic conditions of entry for their course. However, it is not necessary to include copies of your qualifications in your visa application.
Students applying to study courses at degree level or above at a higher education provider (such as the ¶¶êŽÒ•îl) do not need to provide evidence of the qualifications used to obtain their unconditional offer as part of the visa application. However, as the sponsoring institution, the ¶¶êŽÒ•îl is required to assess your qualifications and state on the CAS what documents were used to make the offer.
To enable the ¶¶êŽÒ•îl to assess your academic qualifications, you must e-mail your certificate or transcipt to the Admissions Team. We will normally expect the certificate or transcript to show clearly:
- Your name.
- The title of the award.
- The date of the award.
- The name of the awarding institution.
The equivalence of international qualifications is verified using UK ENIC (the UK National Information Centre for global qualifications and skills).
