We are delighted to welcome rising star cellist Zlatomir Fung, an artist celebrated for his boundless virtuosity and exquisite musical sensitivity.
In 2019 Zlatomir became the first American in four decades, and the youngest musician ever, to win First Prize in the Cello Division of the International Tchaikovsky Competition. His debut album, released by Signum Records in March 2025, presents opera fantasies and transcriptions for cello and piano, reflecting his curiosity and commitment to exploring unusual repertoire. Highlights of his 2025–26 season include a recital at Carnegie Hall’s Zankel Hall and returns to the Aspen, Ravinia and La Jolla Music Society festivals. He has served on the faculty of his alma mater, The Juilliard School, since 2019.
We hope you will join us for what promises to be an inspiring and dynamic masterclass from this exceptional young artist.
